STEPHEN WALKER

Growing up in Shreveport, Louisiana, my childhood and early life were spent with my best friends

(a turntable, a piano and my bike) and only a short ride to the bayou and pak-a-sak convenience store.  Fast forward—today I live in a 1920’s storybook castle home with my family in the middle

of “The City of Angels.”

 

I began my career in designing for record labels and agencies in Nashville.  A few years later

I headed west and brought my faith, the love of the outdoors and a spirit of adventure. My eyes were opened wide to new visual experiences and there were so many creative and interesting people to meet. I’m happy to call California home now but I will forever be influenced by the

soul of Louisiana and its seductive charm.

 

I have always had a passion for music and the people who make it—their journeys, their visions.  Creating art for the music industry has been a perfect fit. I’ve come to recognize that my many influences have subconsciously informed my personal work being photography, art and music.

It is even sometimes after the fact that I have come to understand the “why” of something

I’ve created.
